Description
Sea urchins are spherical, encased in a tough shell, usually black or dark brown. This shell is covered in sharp, hard spines, giving them a warrior-like resilience. Each spine tip shimmers with a soft light, adding a touch of mystery. Whether in the ocean or on land, once you see one, you absolutely cannot take your eyes off it!

Sea Urchin Opening Instructions:

Origin: Iwate Farmed, Japan
Size: Approx. 80-100g/each

Fresh, whole, live sea urchins are shipped directly from Japanese fish markets to Hong Kong from May to August each year. Sea urchins can be categorized into whole fresh sea urchins, flat sea urchins, and brine sea urchins. Sea urchins (Uni) are among the most flavorful and prized Japanese seafood, and due to their golden-yellow luster, they are known as "yellow diamonds."
