Description
In Japan, both trout roe and salmon roe are broadly called "Ikura," but to be precise, trout roe is "Masu-ko Ikura" (pink salmon roe) while salmon roe is "Sake-ko Ikura" (chum salmon roe). Soy-marinated trout roe is slightly smaller than salmon roe, with a similar appearance and texture. After marinating in premium soy sauce, its umami is greatly enhanced, full of traditional Japanese flavor and unforgettable.

Marinated trout roe is bright and translucent like salmon roe. It tastes sweet and salty with a fresh sea aroma, making it perfect for soy-marinated trout roe donburi.
