This gift box contains Nagano Shine Muscat and Nagano Purple grapes from Nagano Prefecture.
Nagano Shine Muscat: Known as "Kouin" grapes, registered in 2006, these grapes have a rich floral aroma and a refreshing sweetness. The fruits are oval-shaped, large, seedless, and have a beautiful yellow-green skin. Their sugar content can reach 18-20 degrees brix, which is sweeter and juicier than ordinary grapes. The skin is thin and crisp, and the flesh is soft yet resilient, edible with skin without bitterness.
Nagano's local environment, with nearly 80% of its farmland above 500m elevation and an inland climate featuring large temperature differences between day and night, combined with abundant sunlight duration, allows the grapes to develop high sugar content and nutrients.
Characteristics: Low acidity, pronounced sweetness, and a memorable floral aroma.
Sugar Content: Average of 20 degrees brix or above.
Texture: Thin, soft skin with juicy flesh.
Rarity: The Kouin title is awarded only to grapes of the highest quality.
Nagano Purple: A crossbreed of Muscat and PIONE varieties. Purple-black skin with abundant bloom (natural waxy coating). The grapes combine the best traits of both parent varieties with a sugar content exceeding 16 brix. They are super sweet, low in acidity, with firm flesh and thin, clingy skin, recommended to eat with skin. The flesh is nearly seedless, bursting with grape aroma, and has plump, firm berries that peel easily with a mouthful of juice.
Origin: Nagano Prefecture
Weight: 1.3-1.4kg per box
Storage:
Recommended to store in the fridge vegetable compartment and consume quickly to ensure freshness. Once opened, keep in a sealed bag or airtight container to maintain freshness. Consume fresh produce quickly to enjoy the best quality.
Due to unavoidable vibration during air transport, some grapes may detach from the bunch but this does not affect freshness or sweet taste.
